Featuring a broad central fuller, elaborate engravings along the blade and a metal scabbard, this Infantry Sword is reminiscent of the 1897 pattern British Infantry sword, widely considered to be the best design of sword ever issued to the British armed forces- as such, it has never been replaced and remains in service to this day.
